Science Warehouse today announced that the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) has signed up with them for their eRequisitions, eCatalogue, eInvoicing, eOligos modules and more.
Founded in 1898, LSTM was the first institution in the world dedicated to research and teaching in the field of tropical medicine. Their worldwide reputation and the calibre of their research outputs has secured funding to lead over 10 international consortia and product development partnerships aimed at reducing or eliminating the impact of diseases upon the world’s poorest people. As a teaching institution, they attract more than 600 students and work in partnership with health ministries, universities and research institutions worldwide.
As of August 2017, LSTM has been granted degree awarding powers, meaning that students who begin their studies from September 2017 will receive their degree certificates from LSTM and not the University of Liverpool, which previously acted as the awarding body.
LSTM was keen to save their users time and money – helping them to quickly find the right products from their preferred framework Suppliers within the eCatalogue and free up more time for their research. Adoption of the eRequisitions module should also deliver efficiencies through the approval and ordering processes.
